Friends + Colleagues-

The Lab New York is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective’s weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs, live from our private, Brooklyn location. This Friday we are delighted to host New York fixture JACQUES RENAULT of the infamous, Brooklyn-based Let’s Play House label. Jacques is fresh off a brand-new album released in September on the label he co-owns with Nik Mercer, called Zentrum. On warmup duties, LPH favorite JESSE RUDOY.

About The Lab:

The Lab is Mixmag’s live streaming project originally based at Mixmag HQ in London.

Every Friday from 4pm we welcome our favorite artists into the mini nightclub we built into the corner of our office and get them to lay down a set that we broadcast across the world, via our YouTube channel MixmagTV.

Over the last two years we’ve welcomed some truly incredible acts in our building including: Carl Cox, Disclosure, Rudimental, Orbital, Seth Troxler, Breach, Julio Bashmore, Todd Terry, Skream, MK, Laurent Garnier, Hot Since 82, High Contrast, DJ EZ, DJ Marky, James Zabiela and many more.

The Lab has subsequently become one of the leading DJ mix shows in the world, and is up there with the BBC Radio 1 Essential mix in terms of kudos and quality.

Hope to see you all Friday.
