Plant Music: Love Me

If you’ve taken a look at this week’s calendar, you already know decisions this weekend are gonna be tough to make. However, we’ve got an easy solution for your Friday night dilemma.

Tomorrow night (4.20), one of our favorite labels Plant Music will be celebrating the release of their brand-spanking-new “Plant Music: Love Me” compilation at subMercer (147 1/2 Mercer St., Manhattan) from 10p until extra late. The comp features some of Plant’s hottest recent releases, including tracks from the likes of Eli Escobar, Danny Daze, Dances With White Girls, Clubfeet, and The Glass. (We hear Vol. 2 will feature mostly exclusive tracks.)

Plant Music’s own Dominique Keegan (The Glass/All Dom Wrong), Stretch Armstrong, and Rok One (Black Russian) plus subMercer favorite Justin Strauss (of Whatever/Whatever, who did one of the comp’s awesome remixes) will get the dancefloor perfectly packed and sweaty — and if you’re one of the lucky ones, you may even find yourself coming home with some rad free stuff … Get all the essential deets here.

Dropping next Tuesday, “Plant Music: Love Me” will be available on CD exclusively via the Plant store; you can order digital copies via iTunes. Get a sneak peak here:

(Be sure to mention you’re there for the Plant Music party at the door for easy(ish) entry.) See you there!
