Although we were sorry to miss some pretty amazing events in NYC the last couple of weekends, our time in Europe was pretty excellent… and we brought spring back with us! We’ll be sharing some of our tales from the dancefloors of Belgrade via the very rad travel-and-music site Cliktrips, which is relaunching this month — watch this space for more on both the feature and the site!
In the meantime, some news we wanted to bring to your attention:
- We’re back at The Graham tomorrow night (4/4) with the megatalented Sal P (Liquid Liquid/Fist of Facts) and our resident Facets, collaborating with 1978 Saturdays’ Selectress Iriela and Joey Carvello. As usual, expect no cover, great vibes, and a packed dancefloor all night long!
- Mark your calendars for NEXT Saturday (4/11) too: We’re super excited to join forces with Fixed & WT Records at Good Room! The night’s stacked lineup features Shit Robot with JDH in the big room and Willie Burns, Entro Senestre (live), Chupacabras, and Facets taking over the Bad Room. Limited $5 tix are on sale now! (And, further out, Facets will be guesting at this month’s Indie Slash at Tandem on 4/24… more details soon!)
- Verboten rolled out their new membership program, “The Resistance,” today: Free to join, membership signup gets you reduced admission to events, purchase rewards, members-only events, and more. As a bonus, those who sign up this weekend will receive gratis admission to the club tonight or tomorrow night. Fill out a form here. (And don’t forget: Erol Alkan will be gracing the venue’s decks next Thursday, 4/9!)
- Some of our favorite NYC venues were just selected as some of the “101 best things to do in New York” by Time Out: kudos go to Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Baby’s All Right, and Output!
