So it’s really the unofficial end of summer, eh? Whether yours was a bummer (we can relate) or the time of your life, use this long weekend to celebrate the season’s end with some excellent music happenings. You still have time to squeeze in nearly everything on our summer must-do list (though oddly this weekend seems boat-party-free) — LOTS going on involving beaches and rooftops, so you’ve got plenty of options to pick from.

Of course, the big star of this weekend is Made Event’s electronic festival behemoth Electric Zoo — an event that started big and has only grown more massive with each passing year. If you live in NYC and like dance music, we feel certain that you are already familiar with EZoo, so we’re going to save the listings for the stuff you might not know about (including some pretty fantastic EZoo official and unofficial afterparty options). And if you’re sitting this year’s EZoo out, this should perk you up: You’ve only got two more months until Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival returns! Mark your calendars for November 8-10 and keep with us for the latest (we’re already pretty pumped for this year’s BEMF!).

Also, stay tuned for lots of “enhancements” from us this fall, including the launch of our enewsletter (sign up here), lots more features and artist interviews, a mix series, ticket giveaways galore, and more. With everything planned, we could definitely use some assistance, so shoot us a message if you might be interested in becoming a glitterballer…

Now, let’s get down to business: All the best events of the next few days have been hand-picked for you below (as always, the events that get our most glowing recommendations are marked by **), but you can also check out our calendar for the full list of what’s goin’ on. (And if you’re still craving the latest news, come check us out on Twitter: @glitterballnyc.) See you on the dancefloor!
