Best remedy for beating the winter blues? Sweaty dancefloor times, of course. We’ve got all of our top recommendations below for where to have those this weekend.

First, in case you missed it, we’ve compiled all of what we think were the bests in the NYC dance music scene in 2014. Check out the following and see what might have slipped by your radar (note: we totally understand that there are things you might feel slipped by OUR radar — while we couldn’t include everybody in these lists, feel free to message whenever you see we may be missing some worthy techno/disco/house event).

Event alert! Hot on the heels of our New Year’s Eve extravaganza at The Graham, we’re super excited to announce our next party! On Saturday, January 24, we’ll be joining forces with one of our favorite labels, Throne of Blood, to host the amazing Man Power (Correspondant/Hivern/Throne of Blood), in town all the way from London, along with TOB’s head honcho James Friedman and our resident Facets. French Kiss presents will tie the whole night together with more from DJ Qu and A.Arias in the other room that night. It’ll all go down on Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Bad Room of Good Room, a.k.a. the best NYC venue to launch in 2014. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for all the details!

Back in the present, be sure to snap up advance tix a.s.a.p. for tonight’s The Long Count + Minimal Wave monster Cititrax with Silent Servant, Veronica Vasicka, An-I (Lee Douglas/Douglas Lee playing back in Brooklyn for the first time since moving to Berlin!), Further Reductions (Shawn O’Sullivan and Katie Rosebot) live, and residents Scallywag and Blacklauren. RSVP for the location now and get there super early if you don’t get your tickets by 8pm!

Our top dancefloor picks for the next three days are outlined below (as always, the most essential events are marked by **); you can also check out our calendar for the full list of what’s going on. Catch you on the dancefloor…
