Summer officially starts this weekend: Make the most of it before you blink and find yourself at a Labor Day BBQ… Before we get into our top NYC dancefloor picks for this weekend, check out the latest news:

  • We’ll be back at The Graham tomorrow (Saturday) and are super excited to have Tunnel Signs (Clouded Vision/Have A Killer Time/Days Of Being Wild) joining our resident Facets on the decks. Also important: There’s no cover all night, drinks will be flowing and easy on your wallet, the patio will be open if the weather holds up, and you’ll be completely surrounded by super nice vibes. Come join us on the dancefloor!
  • Notice our calendar looking a little crowded these days? Could be a result of the influx of new venues that have suddenly thrown their doors open. We recently told you about the ultra-promising Black Flamingo and El Cortez’s Safari Room (both now open and quite active). Now, meet Nowadays, a new outdoor food/drink spot in Ridgewood brought to you by the Mister Saturday Night/Sunday guys, Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter. (Mister Sunday will apparently remain at Industry City for the rest of this summer.) Bed-Stuy’s C’mon Everybody has begun booking the likes of Eli Escobar and Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area). We’re also hearing about a day-into-night, indoor-outdoor Saturday jam coming to South Side Williamsburg very soon (details posted here as soon as they’re confirmed). Space Ibiza New York has joined in the outdoor party action with the opening of its Dek rooftop. Slightly further afield but definitely worth the extra time: Rong Music‘s new Coney Art Walls Summer Sundays is guaranteed to be one of this season’s hotspots. Graffiti art installations and food by Smorgasburg will accompany world-class DJ lineups each week, including the likes of MK, Kevin Saunderson, Danny Krivit, Maurice Fulton, Tim Sweeney, Kim Ann Foxman, Gavin Russom, and lots more. The inaugural party kicks off this Sunday with Tony Humphries, DJ Spun, Free Magic, Faso, and a special surprise guest
  • Speaking of art/music parties… WORA (from the highly creative minds of A.POP and The Java Project) will be bringing a fresh take on the Brooklyn day party, with a brand-new outdoor space playing host to special art installations, performances, jam sessions, food/drink options, and, of course, music for dancing. Tomorrow (Saturday)’s guest DJs include a/jus/ted (Justin Strauss & Teddy Stuart), Soul 2 Seoul, and Love Injection’s Paul Raffaele b2b Barbie Bertisch.
  • Chic’s Nile Rodgers just launched his own summer music festival: FOLD Festival (August 4-5, 2015 — take note that these are weekdays) will be held in the Hamptons’ Martha Clara Vineyards; the lineup features some pretty heavy-hitting artists, including Chaka Khan, Duran Duran, The Martinez Brothers, and, of course, Chic and Rodgers themselves. Everybody dance…
  • If you like free stuff (and we already know you’re reading this because you like dance music), make sure to follow us on Twitter, where we give tickets away every week! (Next up is a pair of tix to Brodinski’s all-night-long set at Output on the 24th.)

Below are our top picks for where to dance in NYC over the next three days (as always, the most essential events are marked by **); you can also check out our calendar for the full list of what’s going on. Catch you under the glitterball…
