Get ready, NYC amigos: So much amazing dance music is coming your way over the next few months (yesss!!), but you’re going to wish you had a few clones laying around (you won’t physically make it to every great event — #sadface). In addition to the tons of weekly, monthly, and one-off events that will be filling your calendar this fall, there are some stellar festivals we’d like to give you the heads up on (advance planning typically means cheaper tickets!):

CMJ Music Marathon 2014
When: October 21-24, 2014

What: While generally more of an indie rock-weighted affair, CMJ always throws in some nice electronic-focused events.
Who: Daniel Avery, Matthew Dear, Tom Trago, Dusky & more

Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF)
When: November 7-8, 2014
Where: Various venues around Williamsburg, Brooklyn
What: Celebrating its 7th year, BEMF expertly showcases local artists while sough-after bringing big names to the ‘hood

Time Warp NYC
When: November 28-29, 2014
Where: Kingsbridge Armory, the Bronx
What: German-born, now international techno fest making its U.S. debut with its signature big names and big audio-visual production

The BPM Festival

Where: Playa del Carmen, Mexico
What: 8th annual incarnation of the world’s most tropical and gorgeous winter music festival — perfect remedy for those January blues
