Don’t say we didn’t warn you: From this weekend clear through ’til November, you’re not likely to get much rest due to the insanely excellent events planned. The boat parties may have sailed off into the sunset until next summer, but there are still plenty of daytime/outdoor happenings (and yes, even pool parties) that will let you take advantage of the gorgeous early-fall weather we’ve been having.

We’d also like to direct your attention to a super stellar new Friday night curated by Rong Music’s Jason Drummond (DJ Spun) at Santos Party House. The team behind the new weekly also includes the likes of Spencer’s GIFs’ Spencer Sweeney, Shortcuts’ Alec Reinstein (a.k.a. Despot), and a veritable “who’s who of NY’s art, music, and nightlife scenes.” The organizers also promise you to “Expect the unexpected as we strive to bring you an unparalleled experience. Think sound, lights, action, energy, art installations, lasers, bass, performance art, live shows, friendly cool people, and the best and most interesting DJs on the planet. Basically, everything you want from a night out.” Sounds pretty enticing, right? The first one kicks off tonight with the legendary DJ Harvey playing “All Night Rong” — we recommend very early arrival as Harvey parties fill up fast! (Tonight also marks the first in a new monthly residency from DJ Harvey, and we couldn’t be more stoked.) Stay tuned to Glitterballnyc for more on the upcoming schedule, which includes rad stuff like Heaven’s Gate with Tim Sweeney and Sweden’s Studio Barnhus (9/21) and Acid House night with Phuture, Steve Summers, and Spun himself (10/5).

Following are all the best goings-on (in our humble opinion) over the next few days; as always, the events marked with ** are those we have the most love for. Check out the calendar for more. See you on the dancefloor…
